Twilio Toll-Free SMS Program: Consent, Opt-Out, and Data Handling
From time to time, You may choose to receive information or a Goalee digital business card via SMS. By texting a Goalee keyword (e.g., “GOALEE”) or submitting Your number through a Goalee form where SMS is disclosed, You consent to receive one-time or recurring text messages related to Goalee products, services, account notifications, and/or delivery of a requested link. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. All SMS messages clearly identify Goalee as the sender.
Critical SMS Privacy Commitments (Carrier-Required):
- Opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties.
- SMS collected information is not shared with third parties or associates.
- The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We explicitly protect messaging consent from being shared, sold, transferred, or disclosed. These SMS-specific commitments govern even where this Policy otherwise permits sharing Personal Data for business purposes. We also maintain reasonable technical and organizational controls to safeguard SMS consent and opt-out records and to honor opt-out requests promptly.
Retention of Your Personal Data
We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We retain SMS consent and opt-out records as required by carrier/industry rules and applicable law.

We may use email service providers (e.g., ActiveCampaign) to manage and send emails. You can unsubscribe via links in those emails.
Payments
We may use payment processors (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers. Processors’ use of Personal Data is governed by their privacy policies.

Disclosure and Sharing for Business Purposes

SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties and are excluded from all disclosures and transfers except as strictly required to comply with law or carrier rules, and never for marketing.
Sale/Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell Personal Information as the term is commonly understood. Certain analytics/advertising uses may be deemed a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data and consent.
